The Bargain Center seeks to help serve our local community in a variety of ways.  We have very affordable and reasonable prices on items such as housewares, furniture, hardware, clothing, electronics, shoes, books and so much more.  We even work with partner agencies to offer reduced prices for their clients seeking assistance in starting over.  In our showroom you might find anything from a brand new top of the line recliner or couch to a vintage record to an antique that may be just like the one your grandmother had in her home 75 years ago.  Our inventory changes daily and on many days it changes hourly.

We also offer a couple of different things that you might not find in other thrift or bargain stores.  If you buy a small appliance from us, you will receive a receipt and can bring that item back to us within 3 business days if it is not working properly or fails.  We test our items prior to selling them and offer this as a courtesy.  As well, should you purchase a large appliance like a washer, dryer or refrigerator, know that you have 7 business days to return this item if it is not working properly.  In both cases we will re-test and check the items you are returning to ensure that they in fact are not up to par and are inoperable.

When you shop at the Bargain Center, I promise that you’ll find “a little bit of this and a whole lot of that.”  Clothing for the whole family, furniture for most any room in your house, dishes, glasses, lamps, household items and kitchen items and a whole host of other items.  All of the items you find in the Bargain Center are donated from gracious and kind people who help us daily to further the goals of the Mission.  We pride ourselves in having great deals and low prices and as such, we don’t negotiate on our prices.  If an item has been in our inventory for an extended length of time, you may find that we MAY mark it down to a lower price.  However, it is not our policy to negotiate or haggle on these things.

On each Wednesday we offer a 10% discount to all active and former military members and spouses.  Then on Friday we over a “distinguished citizen” discount for anyone age 55 and over that is also 10% off.  These discounts apply to most, but not all, items in the store.  Along those same lines, we don’t offer layaway nor do we hold items.  We also do not sell items off of our sidewalk that have been donated but not yet processed.  This ensures that all parties have an equal chance at purchasing the merchandise once it hits out sales floor.

If you are cleaning out those closets or your garage, think of us!  Perhaps you own a store and find that you have merchandise that you cannot sell or return; we can use those items too!  Please note that there certain items we do not accept for donation.  A list of these is available on this site.  Should you have questions about any of it, please feel free to call us.

The proceeds from the sale of the donations we receive do so much.  They help to pay our utilities, feed our men in our program, assist in providing daily essentials such as toiletries and medication but also cover transportation costs to therapy and medical appointments.  Please know that we greatly appreciate all of your donations of items to our Bargain Center!

To schedule a pickup of items to donate, please call us at: 910-343-0366.  If instead you’d like to drop off your donations, please come by the Bargain Center at the address listed above during receiving hours and we will help you unload these items.
