Board of Directors

 Our Board of Directors is a group of non-paid volunteers who give of their time, talents and treasures to ensure that the “mission” of the Mission is carried out.  They all offer and provide integral support to the staff and the residents at the Rescue Mission of Cape Fear.

Molly Sain, Executive Director

 Hickory, NC native Molly Sain has over 17 years experience in non-profit work, working closely with individuals experiencing crisis, homelessness, and chronic instability. A passionate advocate for the underserved, Molly brings a deep commitment to building compassionate programs and strong, mission-driven teams.

Throughout her career, Molly has completed extensive leadership development training, equipping her with the tools to lead with transparency, purpose, and positivity. Her expertise spans leadership development, addiction recovery, program stabilization, and fiscal management—skills she has used to help build sustainable impact and drive organizational growth.

Molly believes in leading with intention, always asking why and pursuing work that reflects integrity and deeper purpose.

 Join us for a night of dining, live music, and heartfelt connection- all in support of building hope together.
